With fewer kids and more kindergarten, school starts this week

A few more students than expected — but still fewer than last year — may be in classrooms Wednesday, Sept. 1, the first day of school. Along with their new clothes and freshly sharpened pencils, students will find new faculty faces and SMART boards in classrooms throughout the district.
